Located in a renovated mill with tall windows, brick walls, and a view overlooking a river, The Workshop is a spacious, 650sq foot studio for writers who are looking for a quiet, dependable place to go and focus on their work.
The studio includes a modern writer's library of books, cozy couches, lamps, a coffee maker, plants, a refrigerator, three large windows that look out upon a peaceful river, writing nooks, freshly painted yellow walls, a printer, conference table, chairs and an oversized literary calendar filled every month with local and national events.
The Workshop shares the mill with painters, photographers, sculptors and other artists who have spaces all up and down the hallways and the town library is located in the adjoining mill.
Membership includes use of the studio and a discount on classes.
Have you ever needed a quiet place away from home, work, family and friends so you could focus on your writing? A comfortable, creative space where you can experiment with your own style, discover your own habits and figure out the best way to get yourself disciplined?
Members are allowed to use the studio as their personal writing haven by signing up for time slots each week. Members can choose times specifically to be alone or share time with other working writers.
